A colleague made my day by saying something really, really funny.

 

A colleague (girl) was distributing some questionnaires on the congestion problem of white collar workers in the morning, she was helping a friend of hers to collect data for a research. Another colleague (boy) took the questionnaire and came back saying: this is not MECE, there are many questions I do not know how to answer! The colleague (girl) said: I feel the same...

 

It is so unusually weird and wonderful to hear someone in the department saying so matter-of-factly that something is not MECE! I just laughed...

 

Background: I gave the department a training on problem solving & synthesis, and that's where everyone learned about MECE...
